Welcome! Thank you for visiting my clinic page. It’s so great you’re here.
I believe every woman is wildly capable when it comes to her health, fertility, pregnancy, post partum and motherhood experience. I see every woman as the hero in their fertility story and I am here as a guide to educate, support, nurture and treat you.
I sort of fell into fertility when I opened my first acupuncture clinic 11 years ago. I was working in a GP practice right next to an IVF clinic and from there I started working with women and families trying to conceive. Now when I think of these early experiences, it wasn’t the babies born that encouraged my interest and love of the work I was doing, it was the change in the mothers, my clients.
The education, connection and support I offered was empowering them to ask more questions, understand more about their story, be more curious, understand their values and go through their fertility story with more confidence and hope.
I learned more about this first hand when my husband and I experienced our own fertility challenges. We now have two beautiful girls and they are constant sources of inspiration for how I live, love and practice Acupuncture.
I know you can research. I know you’re curious. I know you feel let down by mainstream fertility care and that you really want to be a part of the decision making process around your health and fertility. I know you’re sick of wasting time.
My vision for your fertility story is simple. I want you to feel seen, heard, valued and supported. I want you to know that you are the hero of your fertility story and I am here to help you find the answers and grow your family without losing yourself along the way.
If you want to do the deep, holistic work, book in the Comprehensive Assessment and Report appointment. This is a two hour appointment where we go through every single aspect of your fertility experience and provide you with a report and a roadmap of where to go from here.

Hi, I’m Sarah Fewtrell. I am originally from Brisbane but have been on the Gold Coast now for over 15 years and like to consider myself a local. Although according to my partner, my knowledge of the Gold Coast streets is still questionable at best as I’m known to get lost frequently.
I’ve recently returned from maternity leave after giving birth to a beautiful little boy, Isaac.
My personal journey to finding out I had endometriosis, conceiving Isaac and now having recently waded through the hurdles of postpartum and breastfeeding has taught me so much about women’s health and preconception, the importance of advocating for yourself when faced with a health challenge and having someone knowledgeable who you can trust in your corner. I hope to be that person for you and to make wading through the complexities of whatever health challenge you’re facing easier.
I have a special interest in supporting women of all ages whether you are facing challenges with your hormones or gynaecological issues such as endometriosis, are currently struggling to conceive a baby (both naturally or assisted), are faced with the hurdles of pregnancy and postpartum or are currently struggling with other challenges.
I am so excited to be practicing from Paige Waters Acupuncture. I first met Paige and her beautiful clinic about 18 months ago now and just knew right away it was the perfect fit for me. The reception area of the clinic is filled with lots of natural light and the treatment rooms radiate so much genuine warmth just like its owner Paige. But beyond that, the focus of the clinic aligns with my deep commitment to wanting to support women and couples through pre-conception, pregnancy and beyond.
A treatment with me is gentle, informed by the latest evidence available on your condition whilst also treating you like an individual. My aim for you following a treatment with me is for you to feel more relaxed than when you arrived and empowered that together we can tackle whatever health challenge you are currently facing. I use only the highest quality Japanese needles and my approach to treating your health concern is to consider the ancient Chinese medicine practices whilst also ensuring I am up to date with the latest research protocols for your condition. I also provide take-home dietary and lifestyle advice to enhance your treatment.

CASE STUDY
Introducing Ambre
A 35 year old single female going through IVF for her first pregnancy. Possible PCOS – although not officially diagnosed (mentioned at an ultrasound by her fertility specialist), a history of period loss for 12 months at 25 years old. Intermittent OCP use from 16 years old until 30 years old. Otherwise regular cycles, feels like ovulates around day 20, but not confirmed. No family history of fertility issues. No other health complaints to report.
